¿Slayer se separa?

Tras nada más y nada menos que 27 años desde que se fundó la banda estadounidense de Trash Metal “Slayer”, y tras un gran número de discos que ni yo me atrevo a contar, llega a nuestros oídos la espeluznante noticia de que Slayer, nuestra queridísima banda Slayer…¡¡Se separa!!...¿Se separa?

Bueno, muchos/as pensarán y recordaran que después de “Christ Illusion” (álbum 2006) la banda dejó claro que habría Slayer para rato. Pero amigos/as, ¿Cuánto es un rato? Pasan dos años y de pronto sale el rumor de que Slayer se separa. No puede ser, debe ser una pesadilla. Hay quien dice que ocurrirá después del próximo disco, otros que solo se separará Tom (vocalista). En cualquier caso es una mala noticia, y en el caso de que sea solo un rumor, un mal rumor, deberíamos contrastar nuestras fuentes y acallar esto cuanto antes.

Para no quedarnos con un mal cuerpo les pondré aquí la respuesta de Tom a la pregunta de si Slayer se separaría o no.

Araya: No, not at the moment. I mean, at the moment we all still feel strong and capable. [Laughs] It's the music that kind of carries you and the energy and then the crowd too, and then sometimes you have your off days, some days you have your great days, you have your bad days and we all have days like that. And we're no different. There are some times that that comes across onstage when you've just had a bad day and it's even coming across on stage that, man, you've just had a shitty day today. I, myself, feel really young at heart so I don't have any worries about anything. I'm serious, for the music that we do and the intensity that we play, we're all pretty much still young at heart.
